mediterranean burgers

this is anything but a burger, but for something more delicious, you’ll have to search a long way……

for the patties:
mix 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (preferably home-made), 6 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped, the grated rind of 1 lemon, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon white pepper, 5 finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes and 175ml milk, and leave to swell for a few minutes. add 800g of minced beef and combine well. form into patties and brown in a little butter. set aside.

for the sauce:
combine 750ml cream, 15 finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes, 10 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped, 3 tablespoons capers, salt and pepper in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. add the browned burgers and let them cook through. it’s okay to leave them for longer, but it will only take a few minutes.

serve with pasta of your choice boiled in plenty of salted water.

Shadow-ok, fine. if you're gonna get all quiet on me I'll come over here. What makes you think I don't like mediterranean burgers? I would love this with pasta. How many calories we talking?
And I love you, V

Holy smokes this sounds devine, but I will have to alter the cream part!
